Hello my lovelies and how are you all? I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend ahead? I know I am and can’t wait to relax.
Today’s blog is a little recipe for home made frappuccino that I must warn you become VERY addictive because they are super yummy and so nice on a hot day (we’ll just pretend lol, UK) so here it is, a quick and easy recipe for frappuccino……
You will need
One Pint Glass,
4/5 Ice cubes crushed,
One cup of cold coffee,
Chosen Syrup (sold in most supermarkets, Vedrenne one from Asda)
Squirty cream (optional)
Brew a cup of coffee and allow to go cold.
I have a tassimo coffee machine and have tried Costa for this but found the at home blend a bit bitter. So I use Kenco Americano Grande as I found the taste more subtle but strong enough to hold up against the milk and syrup.
Once the coffee is cold enough (I add an ice cube) put half a pint of milk in a jug and whisk with a hand whisk, electric whisk. Or a posh milk frother thing on the really posh coffee machines (but if you have one of them I doubt you need this recipe lol). Just make the milk frothy.
Put your ice cubes in a carrier/sandwhich bag and gently crush with a rolling pin, or similar heavy object. Add to the pint glass.
Add the milk to the glass then add the coffee.
Add 2 shots of chosen syrup, I had Caramel (yummmm).
Mix it with your straw and you’re done! As it say above you can add squirty cream if you like and also a small drizzle of the syrup on top, or a bit of coco powder even sprinkles or similar decorations. The options are limitless and I can’t wait for my next one. Remember though they do contain a whole cup of coffee so make sure you don’t over it do it my lovelies.
That is all from this tasty blog! I hope you enjoyed it as much as you’ll enjoy your home made frappuccinos. As always tag my Facebook page in your pics and my Twitter so I can see your delicious variations for more inspiration!!!
Lots of Love
