Day to Night Christmas Makeup

Golds, Sparkle and

13 SLEEPS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! Just thought I’d get that out there (lol)! So my loves do you get as excited as me about Christmas or are you admittedly a bit of grinch? Well either way enjoy the time with your family and friends and share some love and joy!

While you’re sharing the Christmas love at family get togethers and gatherings you want to look good! However who has time to be getting ready twice a day over the festive period? Certainly not us mum’s and I’m sure no one else can be bothered or has the time!
Well I am here to help with this simple and sparkly day look. Adding only a few extra touches you can transform into a glam and gorgeous night look perfect for any Christmas Party.

Day Look

So the key thing to remember in the day look is to keep it really simple. I started this look with primer and my foundation makeup.
I used the Barry M primer and them used my MUA concealer palette to Colour Correct my skin. I applied the MUA ‘Skin Define Matte Perfect Foundation’ with my tear drop sponge. Then lightly contoured using first the MUA ‘Hide and Conceal’ concealer and Rimmel London ‘Natural Bronzer’.christmasmakeup_19

I had no highlighter so used a little of the ‘Nude Delight’ from Tanya Burr’s ‘Hollywood Eye Palette’ which worked fine.
Next I did my eyebrows using again Tanya Burr and her perfect brows kit which is the perfect shades for me and so long lasting once applied.christmasmakeup_15
Finally I seal it all with some Stargazer ‘Translucent Powder’ which always gives a beautiful finish.

Moving onto the eyes and I used a base layer of ‘Camel’ from the MUA ‘Winter Forest’ Palette. Then I covered that with the gorgeous, almost rose gold, ‘Fiery’ from ‘Solstice’ Palette which is also from MUA. I had to apply this fairly thick so you could really see the shimmer and colour.

Once I blended this out I added mascara really carefully. Making sure to really cover the lashes and avoid clumping and not forgetting the lower lashes to.
I finished this look with the warm and glossy MUA lipstick in Shade 2. Pinky but purpley hues with that nice gloss but by no means sticky!

Such a simple look but with your eyes popping with a bit of sparkle.

Night Look

Now I only added a nice bit of Rimmel London ‘Scandaleyes Thick and Thin’ eyeliner on my top lids. I am obsessed at how awesome this liner is as it’s basically a felt tip! Works wonders and you can get your flick on fleek (lol).
After I added the Rimmel ‘Exaggerate’ pencil liner to do both my top and half my bottom waterline. Finishing the liner with a very thin line half way under my lash line under my eye and blending it out.christmasmakeup_17

I went big for the lashes as it is Christmas, with Ardell ‘Whispie’ Lashes, but you don’t have to and I also went a little darker on my lips. Using my favourite MUA ‘Wild Berry’ Matte Lipstick.

There you have it my loves a perfect glittery look from a simple day to a glammed up night! I hope this helps with all the wonderful Christmas times you may have along the festive period and saving you time!
