Green Eyes To
Hello you beautiful people! I hope today finds you well and healthy as always.
Today we are moving forward in our eyeshadow collection posts and we are focusing on green eyes today. If you missed the ‘Blue Eyes’ edition you can check it out here.
I decided with the green eyes to go with a completely different shape so you can experiment too. You can use this style with any colours so you can really go for it. I also decided to add a little glitter here too. It gives it a cool festival vibe which I love. My lovely model for today was my very own sister. So thank you so much, Vicki, for letting me have at your face (lol).
So I started this look with a nice thick green line of eyeliner along the top lash line. Really simple and I didn’t flick it out or blend it out. Just straight on.
Next, I used this gorgeous dark green from the MUA ‘Winter Forest’ palette to go on the outer corners of the eyes and across the top of the lid to define the eye. I haven’t blended it out here fully so you can see the shape I started with.
So for the glitter, you can see I went for a chunkier glitter for this look. The fine dust glitter really had a gorgeous green pop to it so it was perfect to use in this look. I actually stuck this down with a little eyelash glue just so it didn’t move or not getting glitter all over eye nice eyeshadow.
Then you want just check the blending. As I said I didn’t leave that big dark line just there. Just wanted to show the shape I used. I then added a little of green liner on the lower lash line from the outer corner to the middle of the eye and I blended that out as well.
I finished the look with a trusty white eyeliner and a nice coat of MUA ‘Eye Define’ waterproof mascara and that was it.
I love how the green eye colour really pops with this shadow. I also love how the because the glitter is larger grains it catches the light so well and is so pretty. If you’re a little worried or nervous to try a glitter look, add a little on the darker section and use the green eyeliner solidly over the eyelid.
