Perfect Autumn Dates

Autumn is many of ours favourite season but along with the cosy nights AT HOME, comes the problem of where to go for a date night if the weather is shoddy?
With the change in the seasons comes a whole new variety of date choices! With the weather getting colder and gloomier locking yourself indoors doesn’t need to be the answer.

Well, fear not as I am here to give you five great date night ideas that are perfect for the Autumn and Winter months.

A Hot Chocolate Date

Yes, a perfect date for the colder weather where you can either just sit and talk to your partner or use it as a starting point to go somewhere else after. If it’s the first date this a prime opportunity to ask your date some questions and get to know them better. Warm and cosy without being too over the top if you know what I mean! Argh yes, I can not wait!

The Cinema

Although I have said in previous posts the movies is not the best place for a ‘first’ date. I think it’s a perfect and snug date any other time!
Warm popcorn, a great film and a nice date is a perfect mix. Throw a casual dinner in and you’re good to go!

I would suggest using it as an opportunity to try somewhere new as well. By all means, go to your favourite spot but remember to shake it up every once in a while!
It’s always nice to go out to dinner with someone you enjoy spending time with so it’s bound to be a winner. The more romantic the better!

Ice skating

As September is creeping in, it’s getting close to when a lot of the ‘pop-up’ ice rinks start to appear. Why not take advantage and go for a date. Hold hands and be silly but more importantly laugh!! So much fun!

An Autumn walk

Seeing as everything seems to be that much more beautiful and magical why not take a nice walk?
The golden, burnt orange and blazing red leaves as your background and a nice thermos of tea! Absolute perfection! It gives you time to take it all in and just be together which is always nice!

So there you have it my love 5 Autumn date ideas as the colder weather draws in! If you’re looking for someone to spend those nights with, perhaps you’ve not found that special someone. I’m in for everything you mentioned BUT the ice-skating! Last time I tried that, I sat in that horse-car for the 3 year olds and them kids were pulling me while I was screaming. Big, traumatic experience! LOL

These are all really cute ideas. At first I was like “what? It’s spring??” and totally forgot that the seasons are reversed in the northern hemisphere! This past autumn I took my boyfriend to the big botanic gardens in the Adelaide Hills and all the trees had gorgeous red, yellow, and orange colours. He was so annoyed that he forgot to bring his camera!

  5. You know you should not post these kind of posts which makes anyone go crazy ❤

    1. I’m not sure what you mean Vipul. Many people find dating really difficult. I’m simply offering some of my own personal advice. I have been in my relationship for nearly 13 years and wanted to depart some things I’ve learned. Plus in my disclaimer it clearly states these are my personal opinions and you should take it with a pinch of salt

  6. If I could add something, I’d add a homestay date in a mountain castle, or a private beach with a lot of beauty thrown in like a hammock, tea and great cozy beds
