It’s all well and good trying to have it all. The life, the job, the perfect partner. But how do you nurture your relationship when you’re a really busy person?
Here I will share my top 5 tips on how to keep the love alive when time isn’t always on your side.
Once a week even but make it personal. No phones and a real conversation with lots of questions. Listen when the other speak and find out what they have been up to. It doesn’t need to be a night out even but just that time alone to catch up is so important. Munching in the front of the TV and zoning out can too easily become the norm.
Always Say Good Night
As the age-old saying goes ‘Don’t go to sleep on an argument’ and it really is true. Even if you only say good night. You won’t wake up the next day magically fixed but you 100% will not be as pissed. On the other side of this when things are great, even more, the reason to make a point of a kiss, a cuddle and a good night. Nothing better than going to sleep feeling loved.
Little Gifts and Random Texts
There is nothing better than feeling loved and thought of. Why not send your other half a cute text or pick up a little gift you’ll know they’ll love. It’s the little things that really do build up and mean a lot. To know that even if you or both of you are really busy you would rather be together is precious.
Plan Days Out or Time Away
Whether it is planned or spontaneous time away it will be really important. Sacrificing this time out of your busy schedule shows your commitment. It shows that the time you do have to dedicate to your partner you do and make a point of actually enjoying it. Even if it’s only for a day or two.
You cram these little babies in where you can! It shows your partner you’re still interested. That you still find them desirable and I can promise it will give them a confidence boost. Plus they’re free so sprinkle them like glitter!
Obviously, a relationship is more than just little tips here and there but these will help. What’s your top dating tip? Let us know in the comments below and I will speak to you again soon.
