April Showers

Hello, my beautiful Spring Bunnies. Although if someone could remind Britain it is in fact Spring so it can cut it out with the snow, that would be great! Yes, it is bitter cold here and we are all feeling it.
LUSH is the perfect way to warm up after a cold, hard day and today I am reviewing the ‘April Showers’ bath bomb.
April Showers is a new bath bomb from the Easter 2018 collection. I recently got a preview of most of the Mothers day and Easter range for 2018. If you are a LUSH fan and haven’t had a chance to check out the new products you can click here to see what they have on offer. Also, have a couple of pictures too (I loves ya after all).

The first product I was always going to review was April Showers. Then the wonderful Lushies actually gifted me one so it was set. There is a couple of reasons all of which I will share with you here.

Can we just look at this for a minute, please? The cute cloud design is just too much and too pretty. Perfect for Spring and accompanied by the colourful droplets it will add a bit of brightness to any gloomy day. The clean white and the contrast of the pink and purple really add a pop to this bath bomb.
The scent is lively and fragrant which will help revitalise you after a stressful day. It actually smells like palmer violets, which is not a favourite of mine. However, it is sweet and subtle enough and not overpowering at all. Leaving you calm, relaxed and feeling incredible.

April Showers dissolves beautifully, as it’s a fizzer, and leaves your bath water the most perfect pastel pink colour. Creamy and luxurious. I couldn’t wait to get in and enjoy that LUSH goodness! The small pink and purple droplets were amazing. being a gel-like substance, they danced on top of the pink water before dissolving. They really added to the colour blast that I need at this cold, dull time.
After getting out of the bath my skin felt amazingly soft and hydrated. This is due to the Cedarwood and Cyprus oils and you can, believe me, they’re doing their job. I was a little slick afterwards and if you don’t like that feeling. You can use a little talc to dry any excess oils out.
I have to say I really enjoyed this bath bomb and felt super relaxed and chilled when I was in fresh pj’s and snuggled up with tea. It really is the perfect end to a cold and bitter day. Warming and soothing which is what we’re all looking for! Not just that but a great bath bomb to refresh and revitalise ready for Spring. With bright colours and a fragrance that is so happy and light, I LOVE THIS BATH BOMB!
If you would like to check out this bath bomb for yourself you can find it on the LUSH website. I highly suggest giving it a go if you’re looking for a new bath product for Spring. I also feel this would make a great pick for Mothers Day or even as an Easter gift! Simply perfect so thank you LUSH.
Have you tried any of the new LUSH collections? What is your favourite from the new range? Would you like to try this one? Let us know in the comments below and share with all you LUSH lover friends so they don’t miss out on a great LUSH bath bomb.
Lots of Love,
Tahnee xxx
